Relevance . Caries and premature loss of teeth is among the causes development malocclusion. develops with greater frequency on proximal occlusal surfaces mandibular first molars, which increases risk periapical complications due to late diagnosis tooth decay. Students Russian Ministry Defense schools for comprehensive education belong reserve units law enforcement authorities, agencies services. Therefore, prevention sustaining their good health, including dental a top priority. The paper objective evaluate carious lesions various molars in students educational institutions Russia. Methods We examined 30 year class II malocclusion (K07.20 according ICD-10) aged 11-12 years, using basic (clinical examination probing) additional (questionnaires, photo protocol, radiography) research methods. All patients underwent cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) natural occlusion resolution 17Ч15. Results discussion 45 % revealed latent enamel below level equator, predominantly localized medial surface. At same time, communicating cavity 60.9 cases were contact (Class Black), 39.1% - chewing surface I Black). Periapical foci destruction found 38.3 cases.
